I’ve had this topiary azalea living inside my home for the past twenty plus years. It blooms every year and this year it’s blooming just in time for Valentines!
I place it outside for the warmer months but it is always brought inside for the winter. I’m not sure it’s a variety that would be hardy in our area.
Here’s a photo of it in our living room.
Hoping to add a sketch soon!

I have an azalea like that one in my yard. I had no idea they would live like that inside. I am gonna try one inside. very pretty.

Hi Betsy! It should do well– let me know how you make out. Be sure NOT to let it dry out completely. I’ve lost one or two in the past from lack of water. Also, I give mine lots of bright sun in the winter until it blooms, then I set it away from the window. The blooms last longer that way. I keep it in a shady spot outside in the summer. Good luck!
Flowering plants give the heart hope that spring will eventually arrive. Thank you for sharing yours.
