The\u00a0\u201cNative Plants in the Landscape\u201d conference at Millersville University\u00a0offered a workshop\u00a0taught by Landscape\u00a0architect\u00a0David Hughes.<\/a>\u00a0He taught us how to create\u00a0miniature chairs made with invasive trees and plants gathered from the woods.<\/p>\n

I wasn\u2019t speedy enough to complete my chair during the workshop, so I took it home in pieces to finish.<\/p>\n

I split long, leathery\u00a0yucca leaves into long strips and wove them to create\u00a0the seat.\u00a0The yucca leaves are flexible and strong.<\/p>\n
