Pull up a chair and join me in the garden.
The “Native Plants in the Landscape” conference at Millersville University offered a workshop taught by Landscape architect David Hughes. He taught us how to create miniature chairs made with invasive trees and plants gathered from the woods.
I wasn’t speedy enough to complete my chair during the workshop, so I took it home in pieces to finish.
Mr. Gray with The Little Chair
I split long, leathery yucca leaves into long strips and wove them to create the seat. The yucca leaves are flexible and strong.

Bless the flowers then they’re gone.”
And now they will have a chair to sit upon. 🙂
